Pacific Health & Wellbeing (PHW) is excited to announce the addition of two new Occupational Therapists, Kirra and Megan, to our expanding team at the Gold Coast branch.

Kirra, who started in mid-May at PHW, holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Southern Cross University, specialises in paediatric occupational therapy. With a background in assessing and supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities, Kirra employs play-based and strengths-based methods to help participants achieve their goals and find meaningful engagement in life. She is dedicated to empowering participants, families, educators, and stakeholders to facilitate independent, meaningful lives and takes great joy in celebrating their achievements and milestones.

Megan, who joined PHW in early July, brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving independence, functioning, and quality of life. She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science in Mental Health and Addictions. Megan’s extensive background includes working in mental health inpatient wards and paediatric settings, where she specialised in fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and self-care skills. Her roles in both inpatient and community settings have equipped her with invaluable knowledge and passion, significantly enhancing the services PHW provide to our participants.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kirra and Megan to our team,” commented Sarah J, Occupational Therapist and Team Leader at Pacific Health & Wellbeing Gold Coast branch. “Kirra and Megan bring a depth of knowledge to our Gold Coast team, allowing us to support participants with a wide range of Occupational Therapy needs.”

The entire PHW team warmly welcomes Kirra and Megan and looks forward to their contributions in continuing to provide exceptional care and support to our participants. Welcome to the team, Kirra and Megan!
