Kirra, originally from Port Macquarie, was drawn to occupational therapy (OT) for its holistic approach to supporting people. With a passion for paediatrics, she thrives on empowering participants to reach meaningful milestones and engage in daily life.
Her career journey includes roles as a support worker in a SIL home, a generalist OT in her graduate role, and for over two years as a paediatric OT. Kirra has collaborated with families and stakeholders across clinics, schools, and homes. Most recently, as a Clinical Team Leader, she supported a multidisciplinary team and managed day-to-day operations.
Certified in the SOS Approach to Feeding and experienced in Keyword Sign, Kirra loves using strengths-based and play-based methods to engage participants. Outside of work, she enjoys the gym, running, outdoor adventures, and training for Hyrox and Turf Games. Kirra is passionate about helping participants live independently and meaningfully, celebrating each and every step of their journey.
