Pacific Health & Wellbeing is pleased to welcome Grace C to our expanding Occupational Therapy team. Grace joins us as an Occupational Therapist servicing both the Brisbane and Toowoomba regions.
Originally from Toowoomba, Grace moved to Brisbane for school before completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Griffith University in 2024. Her interest in occupational therapy was sparked during a high school work experience program, where she observed various allied health professionals and recognised the significant impact Occupational Therapists can have on individuals' lives.
Grace has experience working with children through after-school care and sports coaching, and she is particularly passionate about facilitating skill development in young participants through play-based therapy. She is also eager to support people in rural areas who may otherwise have limited access to therapy services. Looking ahead, Grace has a keen interest in paediatric prosthetics and aspires to delve deeper into this specialty throughout her career.
Grace is no stranger to Pacific Health & Wellbeing. Having spent 10 weeks completing her final university placement with us, she was drawn to the supportive and collaborative environment on offer. Now, she’s thrilled to officially join the team and continue making a difference in the lives of participants.
Annie P, Occupational Therapist and Queensland Team Leader at Pacific Health & Wellbeing, shared her enthusiasm about Grace’s arrival. “Our team continues to grow, and it’s fantastic to welcome Grace onboard, especially after seeing her thrive during her placement with us. She joins just after Oscar and Tilly, who started last week, and it’s wonderful to see such talented professionals joining our team.”
We’re delighted to have Grace as part of the Pacific Health & Wellbeing team and look forward to seeing the impact she will have on our participants and their families.
