New Additions to the Brisbane Occupational Therapy Team

New Additions to the Brisbane Occupational Therapy Team

Pacific Health & Wellbeing (PHW) is excited to announce the addition of two new Occupational Therapists, Tilly B and Oscar Y, to our growing Brisbane team.

Tilly B joins PHW after graduating with honours from the University of the Sunshine Coast last year. Her journey into the profession began unexpectedly during an introductory psychology course while studying another degree, which sparked a deep desire to help people improve their quality of life through meaningful activities. Tilly is particularly passionate about women’s health and is eager to contribute to this field through future research. She is also highly interested in neurological rehabilitation and looks forward to expanding her knowledge in this specialised area.

Oscar Y, also a recent graduate with honours from the University of Queensland, joins PHW with a strong drive to create positive change in the lives of those he works with. Oscar is particularly interested in assistive technology, home modifications, and upper limb rehabilitation. Having lived in several countries and being trilingual, Oscar has a unique ability to understand and respect diverse cultural practices, beliefs, and values. This cultural competence enables him to build strong rapport and trust with participants from various backgrounds, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective care.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tilly and Oscar to the team. Their unique skills and passion for improving lives align perfectly with our values, and we are excited to see the positive impact they will have on our participants,” said Annie P, Occupational Therapist and Queensland Team Leader at PHW.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact Tilly and Oscar will undoubtedly make in their new roles at PHW, helping us continue to deliver exceptional care and support to our participants.
