Our Team

Oscar Y’s journey into occupational therapy began during high school, where he was introduced to allied health professions and had the opportunity to visit rehabilitation campus facilities. He was drawn to the holistic, person-centred care approach and the diverse areas of practice that occupational therapy offers, leading him to pursue a career in the field.

Oscar is passionate about creating positive changes and improving the quality of life for all the participants he works with. He has a particular interest in assistive technology, home modifications, and upper limb rehabilitation, aiming to provide tailored and meaningful support.

Having grown up in multiple countries, Oscar’s multicultural background and ability to speak three languages enable him to connect with participants from diverse cultural backgrounds. This unique perspective helps him build strong rapport and trust, fostering inclusive and effective therapeutic relationships.

Outside of work, Oscar enjoys exploring cafes, sourcing the freshest ingredients at markets, and experimenting in the kitchen. He also participates in social volleyball and occasionally indulges in indoor climbing, which he finds both challenging and fun.
